Call 102 and 103
Immediately call the police and ambulance to certify death. Do not give in to pressure: employees may impose their funeral services for "bonuses". Call us immediately to protect your interests.
Medical certificate
Obtain a strict reporting form from the doctor (Form A4). Check for two blue seals and the word "final". In case of an accident or if the deceased is under 60, the body may be sent for forensic medical examination (FME).
Certificate at the Registry Office
Based on the conclusion and passport (original is taken), obtain a State Death Certificate at the Registry Office (ZAGS). A state benefit (usually 2 pensions) is also processed there.
